8Im Skirophorion, am letzten (Tag), dem vier-
9unddreißigsten der Prytanie; von den
10Vorsitzenden leitete die Abstimmung Demetrios aus dem
11Demos Erchia; Beschluß von Rat und Volk;
12Hieronymos S.d. Oikopheles aus dem Demos Rhamnous
13stellte den Antrag: Da der Gegenschreiber Kallikrates
14in guter und gerechter Weise Sorge trug
15um die Aufzeichnung der Schriftstücke und
16die Prytanen ihn bekränzt haben, und er auch
17im übrigen sein Amt in guter und gerechter Weise ausübte, wolle
18beschließen der Rat: dass die Vorsitzenden, die
19ausgelost sein werden zum Vorsitz für die erste
20Volksversammlung, ihn einführen vor das
21Volk und über ihn verhandeln lassen und die Beschlussvorlage
22des Rates im Volk einbringen,
23wonach der Rat beschließt, dass man belobige Kal-
24likratides S.d. Kallikrates aus Steiria
25wegen seiner Leistung und seiner Gerechtigkeit gegenüber
26dem Rat und dem Volk und ihn bekränze
27mit goldenem Kranz im Wert von 500
28Drachmen, sobald er Rechenschaft abgelegt hat; und dass,
29da auch das Gesetz dies vorschreibt, falls er in gerechter Weise
30das Amt ausgeübt zu haben scheint, er auch seitens
31des Volkes rechnen dürfe auf - - -

8On the old and new day of Skirophorion,
9the thirty-fourth of the prytany. Of the
10presiding committee Demetrios of
11Erchia was putting to the vote. The Council and People decided.
12Hieronymos son of Oikopheles of Rhamnous
13proposed: since the recorder,
14Kallikratides, has managed well and justly
15the writing up of the documents and
16the prytanies have crowned him,
17and in other respects he is performing his office well and justly,
18the Council shall resolve: that the presiding committee
19allotted to preside in the next
20Assembly shall introduce him to
21the People and put his case on the agenda, and submit
22the opinion of the Council to the People,
23that it seems good to the Council to praise
24Kallikratides son of Kallikrates of Steiria
25for his excellence and justice towards
26the Council and the People and to crown
27him with a gold crown of 500
28drachmas, when he has rendered his accounts;
29and that, since the law also ordains it, if he should be deemed
30to have performed his office justly, he shall be permitted
